ESAP
European Single Access Point
All annual and sustainability reporting will be collected in the European Single Access Point (ESAP), the EU’s initiative to provide investors with easy access to company information and information on other investment products.
ESAP is an interactive database of all submitted annual and sustainability reports in ESEF format. The database will act as an archive that consolidates reported data into a standardized format, thereby reducing information costs.
The platform aims to make it easier to find and compare investment products. The idea is to use comparable, transparent and accessible information to steer investment capital towards sustainable investments and thus create the conditions for sustainable growth. Sustainability information is readily available in ESAP, thus supporting the objectives of the EU Green Deal.
The database is expected to be ready for use in July 2027 and will be phased in gradually.
